It's been a rough month for the Penn State football recruiting effort. The team is losing commits weekly, and the most committed players to the program and the university are starting to look elsewhere as the current head coaching search continues. Today on the BWI Live Recruiting Show, we're discussing the latest news surrounding the team's recruits, where they're visiting, and who has chosen new schools. We'll also look at a new rule change to the NCAA calendar that has made the new coach's recruiting efforts much more difficult. Of course, we'll discuss the team's open practice from Wednesday night, and give our thoughts and predictions of the upcoming game.

Penn State practice update 

The Penn State football team opened up practice for its weekly media viewing session on Wednesday evening. We'll start the show with a brief recap of what we saw in the short window of practice. 

Next, we'll dive into the latest news with the team's commitments. Which players are slow-playing their visits to other schools? Which ones are already decommitted and looking elsewhere? We'll discuss those updates with recruiting reporters Ryan Snyder and Sean Fitz. 

NCAA Calendar Change

Next, we'll discuss the latest changes to the NCAA calendar from a recent board of governors meeting. These changes will directly affect Penn State's ability to recruit when the new coach is named, if that happens shortly after the season ends. Snyder will have more on the subject. 

Game Preview 

Finally, we'll discuss the matchup between Penn State and Ohio State. Can the Nittany Lions pull the upset of the season on Saturday afternoon? We'll discuss what needs to happen on offense and defense for interim head coach Terry Smith's squad to succeed. Finally, we'll give you our score predictions and how we think the game will play out.
